Investigations

Lt. Reeve handles most of the daily operations. He will review thousands of police reports a year and assign more than 1500 to his staff for further follow-up.

The Detection section staff includes:

• Five General Assignment Detectives - assigned any adult crime ranging from thefts to acts of violence.
• Three Special Operation Detectives - work in plain clothes and are generally assigned drug complaints.
• Two Juvenile Detectives
• One Records Clerk
• One Crime Scene Investigator
